HAS PRODUCT LINEUP

From Small Castings to Large Castings
From Small Castings to Large Castings

We manufacture a wide range of ductile cast‑iron products, including fittings for water and sewer systems, valves, and manholes. Our fully integrated production system covers every stage—from design and development to casting, machining, welding, coating, and assembly. We also conduct various inspections, such as hydrostatic pressure testing, to ensure a robust and reliable quality assurance system. With flexible production capabilities—from single custom pieces to large‑scale mass production—we meet diverse customer needs by delivering “everything from small castings to large castings.”

HAS Integrated Production

Our strength comes from the spirit each of us carries—the commitment to connect people and processes throughout our work. From veteran technicians who preserve our history to young talent driving innovation, everyone works hand in hand to support HAS’s integrated production system. By optimizing each process—Design & Development, Casting, Machining, Thermal Spraying, Painting, and Inspection & Quality Assurance—we deliver products that truly satisfy our customers.

STEP1

Design & Development

We design and develop our own products—including special‑shaped pipes, valves, jigs, and in‑house equipment—and have extensive experience in joint development projects with major manufacturers.

Design & Development
STEP2

Casting

We manufacture ductile iron products—from single‑piece production to mass production—using lost‑foam and large sand‑mold casting. By using shell and cold‑box cores, we ensure dimensional accuracy even in unmachined areas.

Casting
STEP3

Machining

Using our in‑house multi‑axis drilling machines, we ensure precise drilling accuracy. Our large face lathe can handle workpieces up to 5,000 mm, and by using our proprietary socket‑end machining equipment, we are able to support mixed‑model production.

Machining
STEP4

Thermal Spraying

With a masking method unique to our company, we ensure complete thermal spraying inside the socket and even through the bolt holes. Our proprietary setup technology allows spraying all the way to the insertion end. With two robots in operation, we maintain stable coating quality and can handle even large Z‑shaped pipes used for obstacle avoidance and alignment in piping layouts.

Thermal Spraying
STEP5

Painting

In addition to hand‑spray gun coating, we use a suction coating method that achieves a 99% coating efficiency. By using a reciprocating coater with two rotations and two strokes, we reduce missed areas. We also simplify masking and reduce industrial waste by using heat‑resistant masking materials.

Painting
STEP6

Inspection & Quality Assurance

We conduct mechanical property tests on materials—(tensile strength, elongation, and hardness)—and perform hydrostatic pressure testing on every product to ensure reliability. After machining and hydrostatic testing, each pipe undergoes a detailed external visual inspection, followed by a final inspection after painting, allowing us to deliver consistently high‑quality products to our customers.
